Cost Accountant

As the Cost Accountant, your duties and responsibilities include the following: Analyze and evaluate cost associated with products Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analyses Develop and manage budgets Prepare financial forecasts and track performance against budgeted targets Maintain and update cost accounting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance Determine and analyze the cost of production Develop and implement internal controls Redefine costing models Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards and company policies Train and mentor junior staff Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for cost accounting Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making Skills & Experience: Proven experience working on Syspro Advanced Excel skills A minimum of 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment Qualification: Degree in Cost and Management Accounting Completed SAIPA articles would be beneficial Grade 12 (Matric) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on 021 418 1750 , quoting the Ref: CTF019501 Connect with us on www.communicate.co.za and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
