Senior Financial Accountant

Job Description: As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the following: Assist in preparing the monthly management account packs and evaluate the financial performance Continuously strive to improve the quality and timeliness of financial information presented Compile a monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation file Support the implementation of systems for monthly reporting across the various divisions Analyze and identify incurred costs and compare it to budgets Review reconciled expenditure reports Ensure all invoices are captured by debtors and creditors Approve all payments processed by creditors Ensure aging on supplier age analysis is correct after cashbook has been updated Weekly petty cash reconciliation Verify all electronic bank payments Perform periodic float checks at the cash desks Ensure refunds are being approved Maintain refunds timeously Provide training and guidance to the finance team Compile the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation file Any additional ad-hoc tasks as required by management Skills & Experience: 3 years of experience in a similar position Hospitality, tourism or property experience would be highly advantageous Proficiency in MS office Qualification: PA(SA) or CA(SA) designation would be beneficial Relevant Finance or Accounting degree Grade 12 (Matric) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on 021 418 1750 , quoting the Ref: CTF019252.
