Corporate Communications Manager

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Communications Manager to join our marketing team responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to enhance our company's public image and ensure clear, consistent messaging both internally and externally. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent writing and editorial skills and a proven track record in managing communications campaigns multiple complex projects. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll work closely with our brewery, managed houses (UK and France), and our Pub Partner businesses as a strategic communicator with a passion for storytelling and a knack for crafting compelling messages to align a business internally and externally. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement communication strategies that align with our brand and business goals. Create content to effectively communicate with both B2B and B2C audiences, by supporting and being aligned to the retail and brand marketing teams. Produce high-quality content that engages customers and builds brand recognition and tone of voice standards. Craft informative content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share our company’s brand, products, and services. Leading the strategic development of internal communication. Facilitate effective communication within the organisation working closely with outside EVP agency for full alignment. Ensure consistent messaging across all departments and teams. Support internal events, announcements, company comms (briefings, AGM, annual report, monthly ops board) and employee engagement initiatives. Monitor and own our website content, alongside portal updates to maintain consistent messaging. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets as well as our PR agency. Secure positive media coverage and manage any crisis communication. Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. Monitor brand perception and sentiment, and plan and execute promotional events and campaigns to increase brand awareness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a positive brand image and implement measures to track uplift. Respond to customer inquiries and feedback on social media and other platforms. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in communications and social media. The successful candidate will possess: Minimum 5 years+ experience in a senior communication related role Cultural understanding and requirements of a hospitality brand and its target audiences Extensive experience in corporate communications/PR working within an in-house or agency environment Existing credible relationships with leading media & business journalists Experience of working with content management systems Experience of working directly with suppliers such as photographers, designers, and videographers to produce briefs and give direction Content creation – videography, photography and design (Adobe/ Canva) Highly skilled in digital, especially in social media strategy and SEO Aware of global trends and able to incorporate them in strategic PR campaigns Excellent presentation skills with credibility and confidence in dealing with both the media and public Oh, and naturally a love of beer and pubs!
