If this sounds like the kind of company you are looking for, we would love to hear from you We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join Radiant and be part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has success in recruiting for multiple positions simultaneously in a time sensitive environment. Experience finding top talent in 3PL / warehouse / distribution is a definite asset. Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally in both verbal and written form are essential. HYBRID WORK MODEL: Work in the office at 1280 Courtneypark Drive E, Mississauga every Monday and Wednesday. What You’ll Do: Manage and lead all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment activities in a timely manner, ensuring the process and associated communications are conducted professionally, to Company standards and in accordance with applicable Employment / Labour Standards. Work with managers and HR Business Partners to align recruitment strategies and staffing requirements with business plans. Participate in workforce planning activities. Collaborate with the hiring manager to understand the needs of the position. Plan the recruitment and selection strategy in order to attract the right candidates and manage expectations. Source candidates using various sourcing strategies, e.g., social media, networking, database searching, web sourcing, advertising and any other resources available. Screen applicants / resumes. Conduct phone screenings. Qualify and assess applicants. Present findings to the hiring manager to determine which candidates to move forward. Schedule interviews. Coordinate / participate in interviews with the hiring manager and other internal stakeholders. Maintain / track all candidate communications, and where each candidate is in the process. Conduct / facilitate additional assessments and testing as required. Prepare and present job offers. Conduct reference checks and coordinate criminal background checks. Communicate any issues. Create and maintain recruitment templates and resources including job ads, phone screening and interview questions, candidate communication templates, etc. Implement and manage proactive recruitment strategies to maintain a candidate pool for frequently filled positions. Attend industry recruitment events. Remain current with the latest recruitment trends. Assist with employee onboarding and orientation as required. Other duties and assignments as required. What You Bring to the Role: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a recruitment role with strong knowledge and application of the full recruitment and selection process including sourcing, qualifying and assessing candidates. University Degree / College Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business or related discipline. Strong behavioral interviewing and candidate assessment skills. Experience in 3PL / transportation / warehouse / distribution is an asset. Experience recruiting for warehouse general labour / forklift operator roles is an asset. CHRL designation / in progress is an asset. Knowledge and understanding of HR laws and regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset. Experience with online recruitment tools i.e. Indeed, LinkedIn, etc. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast paced, results oriented environment. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to travel within the GTA (10%).
