We are seeking a skilled Assistant Chef to join the team and help provide a fantastic service throughout the day in a busy farm shop cafe! The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, good organisation skills in the kitchen, have experience working in a kitchen environment, and possess a strong understanding of food safety practices.

Duties(included not limited to) :

• Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
• Assist in all areas of meal preparation as needed
• Help prepare any baked goods and set up for service
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
• Ensure all food products are handled, stored, prepared, and served safely
• Collaborate with kitchen team members and the front of house team to ensure timely and efficient food production and service.

Who we need:

• Someone with proven experience as a Cook or similar role
• Someone with good knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
• A candidate with good understanding of health and safety in the kitchen.
• Someone with understanding of food safety regulations
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Working Hours

• 08:00 16:00 (will include weekend work)
