Whatyou'lldo:

• Serve as a technical role model, leading innovative and continuous improvement initiatives across distributed software systems.

• Guide significant project discussions, emphasising empowerment and transparency, while focusing on strategic long-term organisational goals.

• Providementorship by engaging in technical decision-making processes, conducting code reviews, and ensuring quality assurance.

• Drive collaboration and network across teams to foster discussions on technical synergies and integration, such as with microservices.

• Advocate for and implement distributed architecture and best practices in software engineering, contributing to the Architecture Advisory Forum and Architecture Decision Records.

• Participate actively in the work intake process, delivering early high-level guidance on project complexity, feasibility, level of effort, and architectural impact.

• Perform Proof of Concept work toanticipateand mitigate future project risks, while ensuring that opportunities are available to all team members.

• Engage in hands-on development,demonstratingbest practices in coding and architecture, and keeping your technical skills sharp andup-to-date.

Whatyou'llbring:

• Extensive experience as a software architect and developeracross diverse software stacks, with a proventrack recordofprovidingtechnological leadership.

• 3+years of solid hands-on experience withcreating,testing,and operating serverlessAWSsolutions.Ideally,inhighly complexenvironments andwithin anenterprise context.

• Independent problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide support and direction to the team.

• A proactive and relentless approach to improve processes and systems.

• Exceptional command of the English language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A history of sharing knowledge, such as published blog posts or contributions toopen sourceprojects, is highly regarded.

• Prior experience in the Media industry is beneficial, but not mandatory.
