Senior Copywriter

Role Description

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, your day to day tasks will include:

• Create engaging and persuasive copy for various digital channels: website, articles, blogs, emails and other digital platforms.
• Research and implement SEO best practices to optimise content.
• Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all written content.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in SEO algorithms.
• Work with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute content ideas that align with campaign objectives.
• Develop engaging and personalised copy for email campaigns aimed at attracting new patients, retaining existing ones and driving user engagement and conversion.
• Own the content development process from end to end, creating outlines, drafting content, and revising based on feedback.
• Conduct A/B testing on ad and email copy to optimise performance and drive higher click-through rates (CTR) and conversions.
• Test and adjust copy accordingly to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Skills, Experience, and Qualification:

• Excellent understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices, including SEO, SEM, and social media advertising.
• Experience with SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush).
• Excellent writing skills with proven experience as a copywriter in a fast-paced, creative environment, with a portfolio showcasing a range of written content across different channels and formats.
• Strong understanding of brand voice, tone, and style, with the ability to adapt messaging to suit different audiences, platforms, and objectives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to details and strong proofreading/editing skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Working in a healthcare environment is advantageous but not essential.
