Our client is unique hospitality group who have a portfolio of fun and quirky bar and event spaces across Manchester and they are seeking an Events Manager to join their them. As an Events Manager you will be responsible for executing and coordinating events across multiple venues including corporate and private events as well as weddings. This role requires excellent organisational skills and hands on operational experience.

Main Duties:

• Manage the event team on the day ensuring a smooth execution
• Plan and deliver a wide range of events across multiple venues including conferences, wedding, private parties and corporate functions.
• Liaise with the sales team and clients ensuring all event requirements are met
• Manage and coordinate event logistics from ordering equipment to venue set up
• Develop event budgets and manage expenses
• Upsell when required to maximise revenue opportunities
• Manage the bar teams on an ad hoc basis

What do we require from you?

• Previous experience in event management from a hospitality background including bars, restaurants and events venues
• Operational Event experience is required
• Demonstrate excellent team work.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi task
• Team management skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
