A cyber security industry-leader are seeking a highly skilled and motivated C++ Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, development, and implementation of complex software applications that support critical intelligence and defense operations. You will work on a variety of challenging projects, leveraging your expertise in C++ programming, software engineering best practices, and problem-solving abilities to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities of a C++ Developer;
- Develop and maintain robust and efficient software applications using C++ programming language
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Contribute to the improvement of existing software systems and development processes
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions to enhance software capabilities
Requirements of a C++ Developer;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in C++ programming language, with a deep understanding of object-oriented design principles
- Proven experience in developing software applications using C++, including multi-threading and memory management
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Familiarity with software version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Security clearance (SC level or above) is mandatory due to the nature of the work
