Healthcare Assistant

We are a small, 23 beds Care Home and are currently looking for aday shift Care Assistant, for 36 hours per week.

Overview of the role:

• You will be working with elderly residents with complex medical and personal care needs.
• To provide care for the residents under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Manager and Senior Care assistants; and to undertake other activities to assist in the running of the Home as and when required.

Essential:

• Genuine interest in working with elderly within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Team Player.
• Willingness to participate in training programmes.
• Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Minimum 1 year Care Assistant experience.
• Able to cover holidays & sickness absence as and when needed
